Evidence Series, 2016-ongoing

This body of work imagines remnants and shreds of evidence found among the charred remains and rubble of garment factory disasters. The “remnants” are sewn back together, as an effort to repair. The work is made in tribute to those who survive a disaster. I believe the act of remembering can be an act of resistance.
